The Process
Selling your sporting goods with Play On Sports Gear is a simple process. There is a $10 non-refundable registration fee that you will need to pay via paypal to participate in the sale. Once you register as a consignor you will then be taken to the payment screen where you will be prompted to make your registration payment. This fee helps cover the  marketing we do to bring customers to the sale along with help with the cost of the rental of the space. Be sure to return to our site after making your payment to complete the registration process.

The following guideline should provide you with all the information you need for understanding the consignment process. Your first step will be to Register to Sell!  Sign up on the mailing list to receive notifications and become a fan on Facebook for weekly updates!

It's as simple as this:

• Prepare your items: Please be sure to wash, press and clean your clothing items. Make sure clothes are not missing buttons and zippers work. All athletic shoes must be cleaned, air dried and in good condition. All sports equipment must be in like new condition and cleaned appropriately.

• Price your Items: Pricing is left entirely up to the individual consignors, however you should consider the age and condition of the equipment.

Play on Sports Gear will provide a generous split of 65% to sellers. Interested in earning 70%?  Sign up to be a volunteer! Work minimally a 3 hour shift during the sale and you will receive an additional 5%. Visit the volunteer page to learn more about what is involved and sign up!

Sellers that volunteer are invited to the Pre-Sale event. An opportunity to avoid the crowds and long lines and get first pick at all the great sports gear you and your family need for the Spring and Summer season.

• Tag your items: Using our automated system, enter your merchandise and price. Print your tags and attach them following our listed guidelines. Group clothing and athletic shoes by gender and size. Review Guidelines here

• Don't have time to tag your stuff but still want to earn money for your gear? Contact us and arrange to drop it off and we will tag and sell your items for you! You will receive 50% of the sales or you can also donate you gear to Wishes for Scarlett, where 100% of the proceeds benefit Scarlett. •   Sign up for a drop off/inspection time

• Sign up to Volunteer and receive a higher percentage and shop earlier! View volunteer shift availability HERE. 

• Return once the sale is over to pick up your unsold items on Monday, April 15th. You will receive a communication regarding your pick up time, once you have registered. Any items marked donate will be will be taken care of by Play On Sports Gear.
